Microneedling Aftercare

Microneedling is one of the most effective treatments for boosting collagen, softening fine lines, and improving skin texture. Now that you’ve had your session, your skin is in healing mode — and how you care for it over the next 7 days makes all the difference.

What to Expect

  • Redness and warmth for 24–72 hours (similar to a sunburn)

  • Tightness, swelling, and sensitivity are common

  • Flaking or dryness may begin after a few days

What to Avoid (First 48–72 Hours)

  • Sun exposure or tanning beds

  • Sweating, workouts, or hot showers

  • Makeup (especially full coverage)

  • Exfoliants, retinoids, or active ingredients

  • Touching or picking your skin

How to Take Care of Your Skin

  • Cleanse with a gentle, non-active cleanser and cool water

  • Pat dry with clean hands — no scrubbing

  • Use a hydrating serum (like hyaluronic acid) and barrier repair cream

  • Apply SPF 30+ daily

  • Let your skin naturally flake and renew — don’t pick
